Formatting your Cover and Interior Pages

Formatting the cover and interior of your dissertation is a substantial task. We offer three options for both the cover and interior:

• Do It Yourself

  If you want to design the cover and interior entirely on your own, that's certainly possible. We provide you with the delivery specifications and margins. If you encounter any issues, feel free to call us for assistance.

  There are no costs associated with this option. We will review your files before printing and provide feedback on any potential problems.

• We Add the Finishing Touch

  If you've mostly designed the interior yourself or are actively working on it but want us to add the finishing touches, we can do that. We'll incorporate various design elements to give your dissertation a professional look and feel. These elements might be challenging to add on your own, such as bookmarks, visual title pages, etc. Depending on your requirements, a small additional fee may apply.

  If you already know what you want for the cover and have either chosen an image from our database or provided your own, we'll handle the cover layout free of charge.

• Custom Design Project

  Do you have a special request or a unique idea in mind? In this case, we'll connect you with one of our experienced designers who will create several proposals based on your preferences.

Cover Design

• Professional Cover
  Free of charge

  We will create a professional cover based on your idea or preference, using the files you provide, and ensure that your cover meets the printer's requirements. We will also create your invitation in the form of a bookmark.

  You provide:

  • A cover image (choose from Adobe Stock or provide your own image)
  • Details for the cover, such as title, subtitle, author(s) name, and blurb
  • Any additional preferences for color, font, layout, etc.

  * Free of charge with a minimum order of 25 copies

• Unique Custom Cover
  €250

  In collaboration with one of our designers, you'll discuss your preferences, potentially using examples. Our designer will present various proposals and gradually refine the cover design to perfectly align with your research. We will also create a matching invitation in the form of a bookmark.

Interior Design

• Elements
  €75 per element, €200 for all elements

  If you are handling most of the interior formatting yourself but want us to add the finishing touches, we offer a great option. We can add various elements to your document, commonly found in almost every thesis but challenging to include in Word. You have the choice of three elements:

  

  

  

  

  

  • Bookmarks (chapter numbers on the side of the page)
  • Header and Footer (including page number)
  • Chapter Title Pages

  You can choose from various examples of the elements. You can also propose your own idea for an element. View some example elements here.

  You opt for this option if your layout is already prepared or if you can handle it yourself, and you only need assistance with the finishing touches. We provide the appropriate templates in Word at no cost, allowing you to format your thesis directly in the correct size and with the right margins.

• Fully Taken Care Of
  €495

  We take care of the entire layout of the inside and cover of your thesis. We have a wide range of examples for you to choose from. First, we create a sample chapter to align with your preferences. After receiving feedback, we proceed to design the entire thesis. We'll coordinate on the delivery to ensure a smooth process. We handle the following aspects:

  • Font type, size, and line spacing
  • (Sub)headings
  • Chapter title pages
  • Header and footer (including page numbers)
  • Bookmarks
  • Table of contents
  • Tables
  • References
  • Figure positioning

  You choose this option if you have a slightly broader budget and if you would like a professional to ensure that every detail of your thesis is perfect.

  If your book, when formatted, exceeds 250 pages, an additional €1 per page is charged. The same applies to formatting more than 30 tables.
